It's just not worth it

I had an epiphany this morning and to tell you the truth, it was a long time coming.

Despite my love for the Arabian horse, the industry as a whole has some major flaws and it's just not worth the time, money, and effort anymore. I love to show more than anything almost anything in the world, but for the money you spend trying to even get a chance to compete with the big boys, you could buy a new car instead. It's seriously ridiculous. My sweet hubby allowed me to play that game last year and was even willing to let me have another go at it this year, but I've decided that it's just not worth it anymore.

This year I want to focus my energy on spending more time with God, my family and friends, and developing my photography skills. :)
